Almost has a trachyphillia geoffroyi look to it. The mushroom looks to be irritating it.

They were growing like that when they were acquired.

Brain corals are always tricky to id. You are right its a trachy. I never knew mushrooms sting.

It takes a bit of staring, lol. Mushrooms can wreak havoc for sure, especially discoma.

Yeah I have never heard that until now. Seems like I’ve seen discomas touching something different in a lot of different tanks so I would not of had a second thought about it but I greatly appreciate the knowledge.
