I think I’m going to try my method for science and get back to you guys. I’ll do it when I’m leak testing the new tank so water contamination won’t matter no live stock and all the water will be removed.

fishing season has to hurry up before I go stir crazy and come up with other tests

@Krad Did you ever try the flow meter you posted above? I was thinking of picking one up to fine tune my pump for the uv sterilizer.

Haha no I lost it when I moved and had a baby setting up tank so I slapped it together and did it live :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Im sure I’ll find it in a box when I’m done unpacking in 5 years!

I am getting a hydros from Santa so I might get the flow meter and see what my UVs actually getting. The UV body is 3 inches so I’m sure that kills the flow on the output. Might get two meters and see what the difference is.
