We all have our favorite types, be it sps, lps, encrusting , gorgonians and soft.

What's the apple of your eye currently? The one coral specimen that either gets a bit more love than all the rest, or that you find the most appealing or interesting?

No "all of them " answers allowed! Pics welcome :)

Alternatively, what colony are you proudest/happiest with at the moment?

Mine would be this guy. Can't remember what type of chalice it is, but I paid more than I would have liked. Bought it as a tiny frag, and for a very long time it pretty much just didn't grow. Lately, it's been doing great. It's slightly larger than a softball in diameter. My wife wants me to frag it to make room for other corals, but I can't do it. I'd like to see this thing grow and see what it does.

Is that a Hollywood stunner?
This is a Hollywood Stunner in the background of this pic. It is aggressive and grows insanely quick.

Ironically this picture also has my favorite coral which is an Indo torch. It’s hard to take a picture on the left side of my tank without having my Hollywood Stunner in the background.

Gotta be my birdsnest! Not the flashiest or most colorful of corals out there, but it was my first SPS and first stony coral I really had success with growing. And how it’s grown! From a stick with four points to… whatever it is now; it’s also a favorite perch for my clown gobies!
