Added a small chip of green monti cap to back wall. I bought a piece for my other system and broke a small piece off getting it out of the cup.
Also added another piece of green slimer abro. It's was in the frag tank recovering and has since grown over cut area. It was a weird shaped piece but fit in to the scape nicely I think.

Added another plug of calcerous algae to the front.

I swapped the porites worm rock with the other one I had in my frag system. It fits the space better and the other went into the 170.

I get this sea lettuce like algae that grows in several places. Its left of the goni if you zoom in.

Tank is using 4mll of esv daily to maintain current alk level.

It will be interesting to
see what it looks likes at the 1 year mark. May add 1 or 2 small pieces but I think it's set to grow in for now.

Thanks. I use live rock in all systems and it shows up rather quick.

I took 2 frags from the 170.
I cut the growth tip off my purple stag and 1 frag from Surf&Turf.

I moved the setosa and it broke. Remounted it as the S&T was put in its place.

I had 2 f1 dosers and bought 2 Alk&Ca containers.
I use this combo on 2 other systems and it works well.

System is using 1dkh per day.

The Kamoer alk/ca stations are up and running. It is currently using 5ml a day. 2.5ml×2 keeps alk at 7.5.
System is using 1dkh per day.

So today alk was low 6.5 and I was adjusting the kamoer. Somehow I turned it on and did not notice. When I did I retest alk and it was 16, ouch!
Did a 3g wc and alk is 13. I will let it come down on its own over the next week.
Tank looks ok and we will see when the lights come on.

Well 3 days later and you could not tell the system had an alk spike to 16!
Tank is back to a dkh of 7.

I added a 2 head frogspawn yesterday along with a few pics.
Also added another peppermint shrimp and found a better spot for gorgonian #2 up front.

I took out the WD. I lost 95% of my WD colony a couple weeks ago in my main display. Everything else is fine.
Here is a pic of the colony I removed to the frag system
This frag was not looking well so I put it back in the frag system. I have only 3 small pieces left.
I replaced it with an Oregon tort from the frag system.

FTS today. Tanks doing well with good growth and color.
I mounted the ow-10 on the side giving my spiral monti some more space, lol.
Running the wave function pump slows down the speeds up creating nice flow with no sand movement.
I have one aptasia the peppermint shrimps wont touch. Going to kalk it soon.

Where did you get that black plastic light-shield to keep light out of the back compartment-- did you make that yourself? (I don't think IM sells one, do they?) Things are looking nice, by the way.
