I am building an auto water change for my 15g Innovative Marine cube. I have the doser set up, now just working on getting the buckets in place.

I am setting it up so the doser pulls from a 5g bucket to the tank. I have the doser set for 4g over 2 weeks. The dirty water going to a drain.

I have 2, 2 gallon buckets and a 5 gallon bucket. I was going to make 4 gallons of fresh salt water in the 5 gallon bucket. Then use the 2 gallon to add fresh salt water to the 5 gallon each week.

I will still do an extra 1-2 gallon change every 2 weeks as I vacuum the sand.

Interesting! How is the water getting from the tank to the drain? Also, do you also have an ATO? How are you dealing with evaporation?

I just saw this. It is a dual pump doser. One side goes from the fresh saltwater to the aquarium and the 2 goes from the aquarium to the drain.

ATO, I have a cheap item that holds a 1L bottle of fresh water. Evaporation I have a piece of acrylic that covers the whole tank.
