New to this forum, but I figured it was time to join since I've used this place from Google searches for a long time now to get info. So I thought I would put a build thread for myself and others to see progress.

Just started this guy up about 3 weeks ago, water parameters are showing a completed cycle, but I am going to let it ride until December just to make myself feel better about how quickly it happened.

I'm open to all criticism and suggestions so please give me your opinions.

I lost a lot of pictures from a phone crash last week so here are a few to get it going.

Tank: IM 25 Lagoon
Lighting: Nanobox Duo Plus M
Sand: Cleaned Fiji pink
Rock: Reclaimed cleaned pukani
Bio: Marine Pure block
Flow: RW-4
Heater: neo-therm
Salt: Coral Pro
Ro/di: BRS 4 Stage
ATO: Tunze

First of all, welcome to R2R...glad you decided to sign up. Your set up looks great. Nice and clean and the stand looks terrific. I applaud you for taking your time putting life in the tank. Your patience, if it continues, will be rewarded. Thanks for sharing.

I have nothing but paitience, my first tank was rushed and I paid for it early on. this time I am in no rush. started with dead clean everything and buying the right/correct items the first time around. should be a much better experience overall. thanks for the comments, and glad to be here

Just waiting on the light to come on Tuesday

I've been ghost feeding a small pinch each day and still showing 0 amonia 0 nitrite and around 5 nitrate.

Woot! Glad you joined, and great work on the build! I love the over-sized stand!

Thanks, I hated having nowhere to set anything on my last setup. I figured a nice ledge would add work area and "beverage" accommodations.

Nice I almost have same exact setup except I have 2 r4 on back wall . I feel like my nanobox doesn't grow corals as good as I expected though. Good luck with build
