Skimmer is always good.
Start testing your Po4 and see by adding fish if this will go up over time.
For what it is worth I drove 20 years a Ford trucks don't get me wrong it's a awesome truck but last year when it was time to trade in my F250 Lariat Diesel of two years with 120K and they gave me only 12K for the trade I was shocked.
Reason enough as Chevy gave me 24.5K to go drive a Chevy.
I still have 3 Fords for the company but slowly they will be all Chevy's

Avoid sixline wrasses. While some have ones that don't cause issues, the majority of them become aggressive. Search themon this or any forum, or search fish traps, sixlines and damsels are what people are trying to catch out.

Petco told me if I get a banggai cardinal I would have to get 3 of them is that true? Because I was told I can have only 5 or 6 fish in my bio cube & I want 2 clown & that would limit me to only 2 type of fish

Bangaii cardinals will be fine singly or as a pr, if kept as 3 or more, two will pr up and kill the other bangaiis.

Don't trust petco...or any lfs, as a general rule. Any store is out to make money. Do your own research and ask here first....

Always rely on your own research for sure, but painting LFS as only interested in your money so they sell you what they have now doesn't take into account that giving bad advice means no repeat customers, good advice means more money in the long term. That being said there is often differences of opinion to how to approach a situation, or outdated info, but LFS are not some elaborate'con scheme' to lie and bamboozle you out of your money.


Possible additions may include royal gramma, yellow assessor, tail spot blenny, firefish, swales basslet, grammistes blenny, neon goby, watchman goby.

You do not need 3 banggais, they might even fight when they get older, if two pair up and then one other is left.

One clown would get along fine and free up bio load for other fish. Try a yellow watchman goby, longnose hawkfish or flame hawkfish, and an orchid dottyback!

Hey, That will be enough if that:D I drive a Silverado 2500hd runs great. I also have a Ford f150.......just replaced the engine in it:confused: it.......died on the road, nothing wrong with that though, just living up to its name:p

23 fords I have owned. One ranger had 468k on original drivetrain, several f150 over 250-375. A few explorers 200-260.

Why talk about fish and corals? Because we're into it. So if some of the fish and coral talk crosses into car talk, or sports, or food, or whatever, as long as it's in good fun, let it be.

It's ok as it will be a process.
The longer you be on R2R the more you going to find out that ppl find it home other than just talk fish and corals.
It's a extension of the hobby.
Later stage you will hopefully upgrade you system and all be excited about that and when that happens a good truck to comes in handy in so many ways.

Haha, I forgot to add that it had 260k on it when it happened:D it has been a great truck though. I drive it everyday. It's just an old 02 f150 lariat.
