Most who care have several things. An R/O system is a must for pure water. Backup power is also a must, also a HEPA air purifier can offset airborne VOC's from entering your tank. Several months of chemicals, and food, as any major disruption can impact the logistics here. So there you are, MR and MRS. prepper. You're all set.

I have an online camera pointed at my tank that I check several times an hour when I'm out of town. Any problems and I put my beast in overdrive getting back!
