Thanks everyone. The emperor has taken out a few zoo polyps, but not anything bad so far. I have been feeding a ton and hopefully he will decide he doesn't like the wild stuff anymore.
As for QT, I'm just not set up for it and trust me, I should because it has come back to bite me on more than one occasion, but my wife would kill me if I set up another tank.
I try to buy fish from DD as much as possible, and when I do buy local, I know first hand that they have been treated at least once before I take them home.
It's no excuse, I know, but it is what it is.

A little over 4 months old now. I was down to 7 fish at the beginning but now back up to 19. The tank is taking on it's own unique characteristics and everything is growing well. Here are a few new pics taken yesterday.

I'm really enjoying following you on your ride Brad. the tank is coming along nicely. glad things are working out good. I really enjoy seeing those angels... Emperor, Goldflake, and Regal are my favs in your tank. makes me want to set up a FOWLR just to have awesome angels. LoL.

LOL. I've had him going on 12 years now. I bought him when he was about an inch and a half long.
I don't think he has grown any in a couple of years now.

So far he ignores all of the fish except the goldflake angel. But he just swims fast at him to scare it. Nothing major at all. Lets just hope it stays that way.

I got the goldflake and the regal from Kevin at PIA. The regal enjoys the comfort of being invisible to them. LOL
