I'm sorry, I have no beatiful tanks to share yet but tonight, I started to cycle my tank after a batlle, from start to finish because I'm a left hand disable man.
After 15 years when I left the hobby, I decided to come back again.
A lot of new stuff, new problems, new challenges, my MD is finally full of water.
Fishes are already in quarentine for one month, build another 15 gal tank to use as a new quarentine tank and the previous one I'll use as a hospital tank.
Rocks are already cycled and tonight I started to run my MD pumps !
For the fellow reefers, I have two tips:
1) MD stand:
Mine I ordered aluminum extrusion.
Bosch was $1,700 (!!!), 8020 was $1,000 and Misumi $500 !!! Ordered Misumi. Some types, like L shaped extrusions come from Japan. Amazing stuff.
2) Caribsea reef sand:
A case with 2 bags of 16 lbs (total of 32 lbs) for $15 last week at Petco (online) !!!

Thanks to BRS (specially Meredith), Advanced Acrylics for the sump (John did an amazing job), my wife (she's my left hand) and the fellow reefers from this forum that allow me to learn more and more about the hobby.

Happiness tonight !
Tomorrow I'll start to clean the mess.

Here is my 40 breeder. Only a month old. Still have a lot of spots to fill in!

Nice man. You should invest in some tonga branch and get some mangroves on either side.

Sorry, the brown stuff, forget what it's called and can not pronounce it anyway.
Is only in the big DIY build. Funny thing is that it is not in the connected species tank?
Whats up with that?
