Finally bought one of these. Already impressed with its accuracy.

I fish less cycled with some ammonium chloride and Dr. Tims One and Only. Took about 3 days. Added a small Picasso and a medium Onyx. So I'm off and running!

I use Dr Tim's on all my tanks. Will be doing a Zeo start for this one. I will be using the good doctor again when I get the 60 cube set up in the office.

Wooooow!!!.... Three day cycle?

Not familiar with the use of Chloride, or Dr. Tim's, but if they work, good for you bud. I usually add my first fish around 10 days into the cycle (Right after the bloom and cleaner crew).

What are you planning for corals?

Yeah you add the nitrifying bacteria and dose up to 2 ppm ammonia. Once a day for three days. It's pretty fast and easy on the fish once you add them after the cycle.

I'm planning on doing a mixed reef. I love acans so there will most likely be an acan garden.

AquaSD and WWC both had live sales yesterday and I made a few purchases. Will be adding some corals at the end of week.

Looking good and I love the Digital Refractometer! I have one as well and it's great getting instant (accurate) readings without having to mess with an optical Refractometer. What corals did you pickup?
