My OR2 bars came today. I don’t have them hung permanently yet but rigged them up for tonight.

Picked up a pair of Orange Storm Clownfish at the LFS today. Super excited and the kids love them.
Here’s an out of focus phone photo of them.

I also got an urchin.

And the LFS had a gold torch that looked awesome. It wasn’t for sale not that I could have afforded it... yet.

Those clowns are wild!

Don't worry about the torch, those at one point were pretty inexepensive then the indo ban hit and now it's crazy money. Just a couple years ago indo golds were poo-pooed over aussie and now at RAP I heard a vendor was selling indo gold for 1,500...

Well that’s just a crazy price.

Pretty sure I spotted ick on one of the new clowns so I moved them to a QT tank and will do the Tank Transfer Method. I risked not doing that from the start because I only have a yellow tale damsel and thought the risk was low but I was wrong.

I also started building the wall mount for my OR2 bars. I’m using 1x8 poplar that I’ll prime and paint white tomorrow. There’s a stud centered directly behind the tank that will serve as an anchor.

Love the progression pics and how great everything is looking so far - hope that the clowns do well and come out of the QT happy and healthy!

I’ll be changing tanks every 72 hours for the next 15 days. They are doing really well and are eating pellet food. There’s only a few spots on the female <12 and none on the male.

The BN is growing fast now and I finally glued it down yesterday. I glued it backwards though so the progression pics won’t be the same :(

Good that the clowns are doing well and eating, at least. That's a huge plus.

A couple of days ago I got the lights tied together and took off the massive end wire nut thing. I pulled the wires out and up so I can bring them out the back. I have since covered the wires and hole up.

I finished the wall mount for the light tonight. It’s a little too high but I think it will be right once I get larger clips and can actually clip the wires correctly. I also need to come up with a way to hide the power cable. I’ll probably do a 2.0 version one day.
