I just received an IM 75INT. The tank came with a black compressed foam pad on the bottom. Am I supposed to remove it? Its blocking the drain holes so am assuming so but wasn’t sure.

My 15g tank came with a foam pad like that, but it's supposed to be there to help stabilize it and prevent salt creep. If it's blocking the drain hole, then I am not sure.

Its a royal pain to get off but I cleared the drain holes

Dang, for the price of those tanks you would think they would pre cut those holes for you.

Agree. I’m finding everything is designed for the EXT model. Also going to need to cut the shelf to accommodate the plumbing.
