Did a 1/2 gallon water change. May do them daily and see how it works out.
I can remove 1/2 gallon without turning pumps off or siphoning. Just playing with options.

Tested alk and it was 5.4 dkh and calcium was a bit high. It seems like a lot of alk uptake in 1 months for a few lps. Doing a few water changes to bring things inline some then I’ll start to dose alk.
We will have a few drinks and install the dose pump tonight.
Decided I’m going to dose trace elements on this tank as my others. This time I’m trying Moonshiners method

Moved tang and clowns to display and yup next morning tang looked like it rolled in sugar. Tried to wait it out but clowns lost appetite and Choats was hiding. I knew that would happen as I never get lucky if I don’t qt.
Oh well everyone is doing good in qt as of 1/16/25.
Can’t keep no3 or po4 stabile. I leave for work po4 is .7 and no3 around 1”. Get home and everything is almost bottom out.
Got a few torches from a reputable online seller. Next morning 1/3rd gone and brown jelly. Dipping and dosing Chemiclean to display as it went to other torches.
