Increase Nitrates?

I have a 20gallon tank with a refugium. I have some lps corals and I am trying to keep sps in that tank. My nitrates are low in this tank. I tested last night and they were 1. Phosphates are at 0.10. Should I start dosing Nitrates in my tank?

I'd dose amino acids. I prefer that over regular nitrate dosing unless you start seeing cyano pop up.
