Still working on the wire management for all the Neptune gear. Biggest challenge so far. Going to try and keep it in the stand but may do a board down the line. Second DOS set up coming but not needed until tank matures and the sticks go in.

I appreciate the concern but I am comfortable with the design. It’s all 3/4 to 1 inch wood and bead board on top in the back. Had an engineer friend go over the load spans and it was in compliance. I looked at a lot of retail stands and I am amazed at how thin they are as well. This is also the 2nd tank of same size on this and that was set up for 5 years..and it is perfectly level.

Will post some livestock additions in January as the tank is settling in

So an early unexpected issue— my only carry over piece LifeReef sump leaked. So I decided to upgrade to a new sump. I chose the Trigger Triton 20 V2. Great sump with a built in refugium. So happy with this upgrade- just the little things really cleaned up the cabinet. Probe holders Apex ready- hose inputs etc..sucked to got through the issue but I am glad it happened early on and ended up being a much nicer set up. Starting to add frags in now that I am at 5 months-will post some pictures of the new set up-

Special shout out to OceanDiver for the control Board. I finally got around to utilizing it as I have more space. Still a work in progress but huge improvement.

Added a Trident about 2 months ago and parameters have been consistent. Excited that the tank is settling in. Added 9 Frags from Coral Euphoria. Will update in a few weeks once they settle and I attach to the scape

It has been a long time since the last update. Tank hit 2 years in November and is starting to settle in. I tried to early to go SPS so I switched to a mixed reef with a host of LPS. 5 torch corals and 7some hammers started a recent Goni Garden 3 and some easy SPS. Much less stress and as things settle more I will fill in with more SPS. Starting to have a lot of interest in Chalice corals lately so if these do well I will go for some higher end with more colors. Not much a photographer but these give a decent color rendition .
