So I have the filter socks for this tank, how long should I wait before replacing socks? Ive never used socks before

Easy test is pulling them out of the water and seeing how fast water drains out of them. If water is slowly coming out, it's time to wash or change them.

So i can wash them with RO water??

Washer machine them with no detergent just hot water and a splash of bleach. Double rinse and don't dry

Also turn them inside out first, forgot to mention that. Get as much stuff out as you can. Sometimes snails get in the sock, I always shake them back in the tank
