With the arrival of a new baby in the fall, I won't have the time I need to dedicate to my reef tank any more. So, I'm planning to step away from the hobby for a few years and would like my tank to go to a good home.

I know everyone will ask about parting things out, but at least initially I am interested in selling the whole system, locally, with or without the livestock (my LFS will take it if you don't want it). I am in Highland Park, Illinois, about 20 miles north of Chicago.

Livestock list is pretty short. Two ocellaris clownfish, not sure if they're "paired" because they're still pretty small, but they get along well. Also a variety of LPS, and easy SPS corals (see photo at bottom).

I spent about $3,000 on the equipment, in total, so I hope an asking price of $1,250 is reasonable.

The system is about 18 months old, so that is the age of all the equipment, unless otherwise noted. Here is a fairly comprehensive list of what's included, but there are certainly some other items in my "aquarium stuff" box that you'd be welcome to as well:
  • Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion 20 Gallon AIO Aquarium
  • Costom "TopLids" clear lexan top with mesh screen
  • Innovative Marine APS Stand in brown wood, open sides
    • DIY removable plastic side panels and clear acrylic door
  • Ecotech Radion XR15 Gen 3 (I bought this used, it works perfectly)
  • Ecotech RMS mounting bracket for XR15
  • Neptune Apex Jr. with silver control panel and temperature probe
    • Energy Bar EB8
    • PM1 Module with BRS double junction pH probe (3 months old), second temp probe, and Breakout box with one generic float switch
    • WXM Module to control Radion light and MP10 wavemaker
    • Vertex magnetic probe holder for 3 probes
  • Sicce Synchro Silent 1.5 return pump
  • Cobalt Neotherm 75 watt heater
  • Ecotech MP10 wavemaker with wireless capability
  • Tunze Osmolator 3155 ATO with Rubbermaid 18 quart reservoir and pump cradle
  • Innovative Marine Ghost Skimmer, Desktop size
  • Innovative Marine Desktop media reactor
  • 2x Innovative Marine custom caddies for filter media
  • 2x Spinstream nozzles for return pump
  • Small Aquamaxx HOB reactor with Sicce nano pump
  • Test kits with some new reagents purchased 12/2018:
    • Hanna Checkers for Alkalinity and Phosphate
    • Red Sea Nitrate and Phosphate Pro Kit
    • Red Sea Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium Pro Kit
    • Generic refractometer with calibration fluid
  • Brand new small bucket of Red Sea Blue salt
  • Almost full containers of BRS GFO, ROX carbon
  • A gallon each of BRS Calcium and Alkalinity solutions (with jugs and pumps)
  • BRS C02 Scrubber Reactor and about 2/3 jug of media
  • A lot of other odds and ends...

Update: the Radion XR15, MP10, Tunze ATO, are all sold.

The tank, stand, and custom lid are available for local pickup for $200. I’d prefer not to separate them.

All of Apex Controller is still available: Apex Jr ($125), EB8 ($75), PM1 with BRS double junction pH probe and temp probe and breakout box with 1 float switch ($50) and WXM module ($50). Individual prices above, plus buyer pays shipping. I’ll sell all together for $300 with free shipping.

All other odds and ends still available, PM me.
