I have an existing RO system that we use for drinking water. I want to install an add on DI for my reef tank. Since I don't want my family drinking DI water, where do I install the DI? Is it before the water reaches the tank with a separate exit line or between the tank and the faucet with a separate exit line?

for me. . . its the very fisrt stage

I want RO water going to the faucet but the DI to come out separately after the RO. Just not sure if it should run through the DI before or after the tank. Will it fill DI aquarium water faster after the tank?

Go to Buckeyehydro, Spectrapure or Air Water & Ice websites there will be hook up diagrams there. You add a tee and a check valve to add the DI.

Set it up like this (so no you don’t want DI in the pressure tank)

I have sediment-DI- carbon- sediment

So why didn't you mention that? And why end with carbon and sediment? Doesn't the carbon add TDS back?
I have zero tds and the schematic on the unit showed these as location for cartridges

ARE YOU READY TO CONFESS TO CRAZIEST, DUMBEST, FUNNIEST THING YOU’VE EVER DONE IN REEFING?
