I would do 1/4 on the 1st dose and see if it works if not increase on the 2nd dose. The 1st dose you should see most of them gone if not all but you still need to do the next 2 doses because there might be a couple make it then you will be back at square 1 in know time

I used 1/4 pill on my 34 gallon RSM before and took out my carbon and turned off my filtration for pretty much overnight. I lost my one and only hermit crab tho and nothing else.

use a 1/4 of a pill.... i used a half on 220 gallons and it wiped out my crabs and pods.... i dont see any need for a extremely high dose....

how do you use it to dip ?

Before adding any corals to our system they go through the dipping routine now. I have a 2 gallon container add tank water then measure out a 1/4 to 1/2 of the measuring spoon of Interceptor (10 spoon fulls to a 23mg tablet with the one I use) add an air stone to keep everything in suspension and add the coral. I keep them in the dip solution for 6 to 12 hours. The way our system is set up I can clamp the container to the inside edge of the tank to keep the temperature stabilized. Once finished with that dip I then do the rest of our dipping routine.

The last couple times Ive dosed I did no water change and didnt run any carbon after words without any ill effects I just got the skimmer backup and running and let it go. I did my water change a couple days to a week later when time allowed. I dont know if anything has changed with the pills as its been a couple yrs since Ive dosed

Same here. My pistol shrimp has survived 4 dosings, todate.
