Interested in a carpet anemone

Here’s an update on the carpet, it scooted over a bit and now looks more carpety during the day and extends at night when the lights are off and flow is 1/3 or 1/2 of what it is during the day.

Really hoping it stays multicolor vs red lol! Been feeding it chopped up shrimp and been giving the rhitteri that as well vs mysis. Both seem extremely happy. Just have to keep the dang clownfish and false yellow tang away from the food

Run my mp10’s at like 40-45% during the day and 15-25 at night. Lighting is on its way up to 30% from 25% and running full spectrum. Added white sand to the tank on Friday so the carpet would have more Substrate to dig down into which has also made it more carpety and happy I believe.

One Clown started going into the carpet yesterday evening while the other stays in the rhitteri. (Pics under blue light with my orange lens filter for my phone). Still stargazing every time I pass the tank lol. Pic of a cynarina and mini scoly I picked up about a month ago, cynarina has grown like a 1/4 bigger than the previous tank it was in (got it from a guy off FB market)


Going to be swapping out my skimmer this weekend or Monday for a Aquamaxx HOB vs my bubble magus and moving the BM to my drop off tank at my office.

They are indeed!

Sadly when I bumped my lighting up I had a few jaws and bounces just melt and the same ones near the top were perfectly fine. Super weird. The ones in the pic are doing great but not too much red in em rn

I am having some trouble with the Haddoni tho :/. Clowns went into it on Sat/ sunday and it’s been super ticked off since then. Ordered some cipro and might give it a go if it doesn’t get better soon. Was pretty deflated and moved its foot above the sand on the back glass. The nem did not move at all just moved its foot (but that is how it was in the store too when I bought it if you look at the Og pics I posted.

Get better soon nem too two pics are from today and bottom two are from monday. Its foot is more secure than the photos posted and will inflate but its definitely ticked off

I did add a HOB Aquamaxx 1.5 and it’s pulling out some insane gunk in the 2 days since adding (Monday night).

Had some Dino trouble pop up when I took my lights to 30% / prior to the added white sand that I’m hoping this skimmer takes care of. I don’t feed too much and water changes weekly of 20%

Will be adding some extra carbon into the water backside

Parameters are all in check and even got a new skimmer post it being sick to help improve conditions

Since I boosted lighting up I got crazy Dino’s and the skimmer / reducing the lights have help. Other nem is perfectly fine and mouth as tight as a pin

I do weekly water changes of 25% as it keeps me on track vs when i did monthly WC’s

Salinity always at 1.025 and temp @78 with heater and chiller

Chat gpt is saying it’s probably from the clowns as all my parameters are in check minus the Dino’s

Just did a seachem reef dip (anemone safe) until the cipro comes which I realllllllly hope gets here soon. Shoulda paid the $20 from another store and got it in 1-2 days. Place I bought it I realized was near San Jose ://///
