Can you tell us a little bit more about your tank? At first glance it appears to be algae build in a freshwater tank. Without knowing the details, I would suggest that you increase the water changes. Good luck!

+1 vote algae - natural sunlight is fuel for algae, but not the only thing that encourages growth.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Its algae and algae areas getting too much light. These are plastc and you can therefore soak 12-24hrs in bleach or vinegar diluted in water. I prefer vinegar as bleach may make the color fade

Hi and welcome .
There is no way possible to keep algae off of these fake plants .
IMO it’s hard to make any decoration look natural . Especially as the system matures , algae takes over everything fast
