Hey guys I have been looking into getting a new wrasse for my 55 gal DT. I already have a melanarus wrasse and I was wondering if there is anything I need to know when adding a new wrasse into a tank with a wrasse already. I am looking at a flasher or fairy wrasse to get if you guys have pictures of your wrasses with names I am always up for suggestions. :)

There should be no issues with adding a fairy as a Melanurus is very different type of wrasse.
For fairies I suggest an A sized in that tank. IMG_5015.png
This is my rubeus and lunatus:

A Lubbock’s would be a cool addition. There are a couple of different color variants that give a unique look. They also tend to be on the lower end of the price range as far as wrasses go, but still great color.

Edit: maybe check out a McCosker’s or Carpenter flasher. Very active swimmers and great pop of color.

Wrasses, wrasses? Somebody said wrasses?
Just kidding. Some of these may not fit well or do well in a 55 gal tank.

Diamond tail, yellowfin, McCoskers, and Bell's flasher wrasse I believe. My favorite is the blue though mine still has some growing to do until its a full male like @OrionN 's
