@Hedgedrew this is incredible! Fell in love with diving on our honeymoon in Grenada and brought the first piece of the ocean to our home with my 140Gal. Started to plan a 900gal for our current home and glad it didn’t get built. Since it looks like a move is in the plans for new future and ideally a new house build. Wife’s wish list is a tank big enough to dive in so I will be certainly picking your brains for tips and experiences! My current tank is basically on auto-pilot (dare I say that) with all the controller and automations in play. Wondering how close we can get to that with a tank in the thousands of gallons.
Principals all the same. Equipment industrial and different

This is my definition of NOT a public aquarium but a Residential Aquarium instead. Visualize the many acropora, lps and softies XXL colony collections with no teennie weennie frags in sight? Priceless  Gigantic sea fans ... ooohh the dream is endless!! Don't mind me Drew, I'm trying to be in your "dream shoes' right now :p

I used to run computer controlled pharma production plants, lost my job through redundancy 3 months ago, I would love to fiddle with this but you are the wrong side of the pond! :)

We defrost frozen in huge amounts for the day and they soak in some vitamins. And we go up ladders and put the food on a scooper at end of a long swimming pool net. And plop it in.
That’s awesome! I have a step stool to feed one of our 300 gal is 7 feet tall on stand. We use frozen too and vitamins but your scale is massive in comparison! I can imagine it takes a couple of flats of frozen food a day. Thanks for answering.

Great work, Andrew!

Besides the Pacific Ocean itself, what are you using for inspiration for this build? We often look at larger tanks to get inspiration and then copy that. What are you using?

This is great. I may have to rejoin Facebook just to see this thing in action, it's been 3 years addiction free!

I am in Massachusetts, when can I visit?
