hello all , my forum name is RoyalGrammaJohn and I've been in the saltwater side of the hobby for around 5-6 months and have came from 9 years of experience on the freshwater side. Specifically African cichlids. I researched the saltwater side for 8 months before actually making the switch and I'm still learning. I currently have a 55 gallon saltwater tank with live rock and six fish including two ocellaris clownfish, blue green chromis, blue reef chromis, fire goby, and a Bangaii cardinal, cleaner shrimp, snails and hermits. Next step is now corals! Going to start soon with some Zoas, and other softies. Wish me luck. And I do not have a Royal gramma in my tank as my name suggests. That's sort of a nickname which I won't get into now.

Welcome to the community!!!

Very Welcome Sir.
Any pictures of your 55 gallon tank?

Welcome to R2R;)

Here are some pics of my 55 gallon. They kind of look distorted cause the camera on my iPhone can't focus in cause of the blue light in my tank.

It's still a newbie tank. Starting to get some coralline algae. Pretty soon corals. Just taking it slow. Don't wanna rush anything.
