Hey all,

I have been slowly getting parts for my 29 gallon reef that is cycling as we speak. I wanted to introduce myself and thank you all for the info I have read on these forums leading up to this build. This is not my first fish tank, I grew up with a father super into reptiles and fish, always had a tank, just never saltwater. Saltwater is definitely something I always wanted, I just always heard those stories about how difficult keeping one can be.

But here we are, super basic setup right now. 29 gallon with some water, sand and rock. =P

I look forward to taking the saltwater journey and sharing with you all here!

Welcome to R2R and your new hobby/addiction! Youll be glad you finally decided to go for it. Nothing easy is rewarding, and putting in time and effort isn’t really difficult if you enjoy the ride! Having your own happy healthy reef makes the difficult bits so worth it. And if you have any questions we’ve got the answers, good luck!
