Welcome!

I've got one that's pretty big.. nothing like that, but probably near the diameter of a quarter. I left it alone because I had a filefish in QT. During the 3 week QT, the aptasia grew larger than the filefish

On the Aptasia….. you can use a syringe and inject lemon juice (not minute maid either. . LOL) or Kalwasser powder mixed into a paste.+
Inject into the core of the aptasia and they will melt away. Better option- Purchase a pretty Kleini butterfly which will devour them and once gone, will be a pretty addition to your tank and eat all foods eagerly. Less risky than a copperband butterly

Welcome!
At least you are forthright about your involvement!
I know which LFS I would not be buying from...;)
Surprisingly, it’s one of my favorite local stores to buy stuff from. They always have cheap and healthy corals for sale. I dip everything ofc.

Welcome to our reefing family.

As I first saw the photo and then began to read the post I thought you became a member to try and sell aptasia. Lol. Anywho, welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay.
