My question is not how many test but can it do a flush and then a different test with the same unit? Or will this need a ION and Doser for each of the test that people are asking for? Just as the Director needs the probe unit and a Doser to function.

The ION Director takes one sample and will do testing for all values at the same time, if this was the question. One ION Director, one Doser, for all.

I wonder if alkalinity could be measured with a probe instead of a reagent.

The kh director does use a probe instead of reagent. It uses the probe and a standard acid to see how much acid it takes to lower the water to a certain ph. Since alkalinity isn't really a singular ion I doubt a probe could read alkalinity on its own. Maybe someone with more knowledge could help out describing that?

Do we know yet how many probe ports the ion director may have? Really appreciate this thread and poll to let the end users have some input! Pretty exciting stuff!

Ca, Mg & Phosphate, Kh, No3 - but it would be a thought to have it do more time consuming or complicated tests like iodine or potassium.

Same as most others.
Nitrates and phosphates. If KH was added so all in one unit it would sell like hot cakes.

A complete GHL package of controller, KH/ion, and doser would make me consider switching from my current gear.
