Looking into getting an anemone eventually. Just wondering if 8 hours is enough.

Also I have 5 quanta pros on my 120. I wanted each bar to run in sequence from front to back to simulate the sun going over from one side to the other. Basically the bar from the front will turn on for a while to the next bar and so on. They have great spread but I’m thinking this will make the anemone want to move around too much. Any thoughts?

8 hours with that light intensity would probably be just fine for lower light demanding nems, however, we try to simulate nature as much as possible, so a slightly longer photo period is typically better.
I like your idea of the light progression, but I don't think it would be necessary or beneficial in that size tank front to back. It would be more noticeable left to right, but again, not necessary.
