Is a Vertex Omega 150 enough for a Red Sea 750xxl running Triton?

The question is simple enough, I was building a 120g, I decided it wasn't what I needed, I got a red Sea 750xxl and I still have the Omega 150. It's gonna be in a Trigger Systems Triton44 sump with a 20g fuge so I think I should be fine but I want to be 100%. I'm not sure if I should be putting this in the Triton forum or here but I need some opinions.

If you already have it, I would use it and upgrade in the future if needed when bioload starts to get larger. You may not even need to.

Ok I see that sump is 9.5" x 15.5" skimmer section

Nyos 220 will work
Eshopps X-220 or S200
Deltec 1000i/ix
Aquamaxx ConeS Q2/Q3
Bubble Magus Curve 7

It all depends on stocking. To start out especially with a big refugium I'm sure a 160 will be fine for a good while.

Me thinks it’s enough with triton system , even if heavily stocked. You want slightly undersized skimmer for fuge, ats, or triton

If you can exchange it for the Omega 180i, that is what I would do. I've had both and the 180i seems to work better.

Stay with the smaller skimmer.
Larger skimmers that are overrated for the size of your water volume will not work as well as a skimmer slightly underrated.

Skimmer needs the organics to skim. Smaller skimmer can grab those organics where there may not be enough for the larger skimmer.
It's easier for the foam head to be stable on the smaller skimmer than it is on a larger skimmer that is overrated for your tank.
