Is an Ai 16HD overkill for a Fluval evo?

Evo hosts LPS and softy don't really have a want for hard corals beyond plates.

Want to make sure I don't go over kill. Currebtly using Current USA orbit marine led and they're not the greatest but they work. Would like to upgrade and figured ai wanna make sure I don't waste money

I've got one on a IM nuvo 10 and 2 on a IM nuvo 20 peninsula so I don't think you'd be wasting your money. Great lights and if you ever upgrade to a bigger tank--------Honey now that I got this new light Im going to need a bigger tank.

Lots of people run them on Evo's, myself included. I think it's the perfect light for the tank.
