Anybody recommend a particular diamond drill bit? Also, I plan on drilling the tank indoors and can’t have water going all over the place. Any recommendations?

I've used the ones off a AtoZ without issues. Bulk reef supply has them in all sizes matching the different bulkheads they sell.

There are 2 chucks to consider. one on your electric drill and one on the device. The diamond hole saw shaft has to fit the chuck on the device probably 1/4 to 3/8 inch. The cutting part of the hole saw has to fit through the hole in the bottom of the device. Both devices have about the same size hole 60mm = 2.36" and the other says 2.5". That is the maximum diameter of the diamond saw you could use. I am willing to bet they are both made in the same factory in China.
