Is the current USA orbit a good buy? Is the light good enough for the cost of it? Thanks!

Hello;

They have several lights lol and they are all kinda by that name. But yes they are amazing lights, and they are well worth the money. I use two 72 inch orbit marine pros which is their stongest light. Their newest light the orbit marine ic pro is really new, but not as powerful as the marine orbit pros.

They do make just a orbit as well but they are super old and probably hard to get serviced if they break. I would try and go for the orbit marine pros, or ic pros. Also depending on your tank will depend on how many. The orbit pros have a 60 degree lens, so anything 18 inches wide you will need two of them. The ic pros have a 90 degree lens and could probably use one on a tank that’s 18 wide.

Knowing what size tank you have would really help, because marine orbit pros can go much much deeper, then the ic pros. The ic pros max depth is probably on a 125 that’s 22-24 deep. My tank is 39 deep and it does amazing.

Their customer service is super amazing also and they are really fast. Hope this info helps.
