Is it my imagination or are Saddleback puffers eating Vermetid snails?

At first, I thought it was my imagination.

Today completed a 90 QT for two Saddleback puffers. I acclimated and placed them in a 125 gallon.

After a few minutes of introducing themselves to the other tank inhabitants, they began exploring the rock work, and have been picking at a patch of Vermetid snails on the underside of a rock arch.

I know that other puffer fish like to eat inverts and clams, so I'm wondering if these two guys will be cleaning up my Vermetid snails?

I would expect a Saddleback puffer to pick at things like vermentid snails and tube worms

My valentini devoured vermentids and micro feather dusters. He nibbled pretty much everything else when he felt like it

So happy to hear this feedback. Of what I know about puffer fish, it makes sense to me that they would be predators to Vermetid snails.
