I will update tank parameters here after work. I have a hello reef kit with the AI blade light set on the clown/anemone preset.

I see pictures of these big and full BTA and worried about mine.

Could it be that mine is still establishing and settling itself in the tank, should I start feeding it raw shrimp now or let it settle more?

It was placed in the tank on 1-16-26. At the time parameters were perfect, my ph was my only concern @ 8.0 but always a very stable 8.0

it looks fine to me. how long has it been in the tank? just give it time most likely.

It looks ok to me, try feeding it a small piece of shrimp and see how it does with it. Anemones are strange creatures for sure. Your clown seems to like it.

Clown absolutely loves it, i actually got them together at my LFS.

I would not recommend feeding an anemone that is not fully acclimated to its environment, it will most likely do more harm than good, I.e stress it out and cause it to move or withdraw.

I'm only going off my experience with bta's, the op should probably listen to you on this though. I'm going to assume TX_REEF has a lot more experience than i on this, so disregard my advice.

Feeding is great! I feed mine 2x a week. Just not ideal when the nems aren’t happy.

Tentacles are stubby, coloration not great. IMO it's not a healthy specimen. I hope I am wrong.

I would give it a couple more days and reevaluate then. What kind of lights are you running on your tank?
