I’ve just noticed this. Elegance has lifted off its skeleton, just in this one spot. It only started happening a few days ago when clowns started attempting to host it, and my tank is only a month and a half old, so too young for a nem.

elegance has been in tank for about two weeks no issues, my other lps, a Trachy, is doing fine, but only the elegance. It’s not inflating completely anymore, only abt half its original size. All parameters are fine, off memory 440 ca, 1550 mag, 11alk, 8.2 pH, 20 nitrate, and 0.04 phos. Ammo and nitrite 0

I'm sure they irritated it. Try to keep the clowns away so it can heal. IMO elegance are very picky until they settle in.

Do you have a picture of where it detached? How is it doing now? I see this post is a month old, but my elegance is doing the same thing. I’ve had her for almost 2 years.

Hey mate! Turns out i had a gall crab burrowing into the skeleton. Removed the gall crab, and now elegance is back to normal!
