Is my firefish dying or sick?

Does my firefish look like it’s sick or is this normal behavior? He usually hides in the live rock but he’s been coming out more often but will lie down on the sand and I really can’t tell if this is normal or not.

How long have you had the firefish? Have you tried feeding to see if he/ she will eat?

If you are looking to see if it has disease, the fish medics need better pictures, and some of the side of the fish.

I agree have you seen it eat yet. From your pic it looks fine but need better pics to see side view and maybe a 20-30 sec video. Once fire fish get used to the tank the come out more. They will almost always stay with in a distance to their "den" but they should be out. I really like dartfish and have had quite a few of them in my time they are great fish.
