Is my rock anemone dead?

He was happily stuck to the side of his rock yesterday and this morning he was gone. I finally found him about 2 feet away laying upside down under my new Elegance anemone!!! I retrieved him and tried getting him to attach back to the side of his rock but he didn’t look good. Looked like his insides were coming out of his mouth. Rested him on top the rock and he didn’t attach to it at all, all day. Put him in a baggy and have him in the sump. His tentacles look singed :( The Elegance is about 3”... I took a gamble getting them both but read that rock anemones hardly ever move but this particular one has 3 times in just the week I’ve had him. The other one I had got is right by him and hasn’t moved once.
We have a 180-Torches in one corner and the Elegance in the opposite corner.
What do you think? Is he a goner? He was so pretty and cost me over $60 :(

Didn’t check that but didn’t notice a smell when bagging him. Will go check.

Bag just smells fishy so if he’s newly dead he should stink pretty good by morning. If it doesn’t smell I’ll put him
Back in the tank and keep an eye on him.

Definitely keep an eye as suggested, but I wouldn't get my hopes up :( nothing I've ever found under my Elegance has survived. They're brutal. Who knows how your anemone got there, but what I do know is my Elegance has killed a lot of critters... Peppermint shrimps, snails, you name it
