The guy who helps maintain my tanks says he thinks one of my seahorses was impregnated. I haven't seen any mating occur though. The only mature female doesn't seem to want anything to do with the males. Any thoughts?

Can you post a pic? If the male is close to term it should be pretty apparent. The guy who helps maintain my tanks says he thinks one of my seahorses was impregnated. I haven't seen any mating occur though. The only mature female doesn't seem to want anything to do with the males. Any thoughts?

Paired seahorses don’t always show pairing behavior - after egg transfer they don’t hang out like a pair, least not that you can see in a small tank.do you know why the female would have 0 interest in the males? will she eventually pair up with one of them?
Sorry, the pic needs to show the horse’s belly and white lights are better than blue to see things. Not a great pic but he won't get into a clear area lol
Is this picture better at all? The white lights aren't on yetI can’t tell with that picture. If it was and ready to give birth you would be amble to tell. The pouch will expand quite a bit.
