I am seriously considering a new Waterbox aquarium and debating whether or not to purchase the third party extended warranty.
Waterbox comes with a 2 year warranty and the extended warranty takes effect at the end of the 2 years.
A 3 year warranty is $237,(for 1 extra year) and a 5 year warranty is $306. What do you guys think?
Thanks for looking.

if you have the money, do it.. can’t ever be too safe. that glass is what keeps your investment (as well as heating of course) safe

No, most companies will do everything in their power not to pay out. Agree, if it's good the first two years, then it's unlikely to have a problem in year 3~5.

Warranty companies are in the business to make money Better off just stashing away the cash you would spend on the extended warranty and just self insure More potential costs are going to come from water damage should the glass fail
