Is salt creep normal?

In my infinia 190.5. The salt creep in my sump is a lot, like on the baffle, where the water falls down, on the cables for the pump, etc is this normal?

Some salt creep is normal. Mostly where splashing or bubbles popping is happening. Take steps to stop this and you’ll slow down salt creep
