Is that brown jelly?

This hammer baby heada was getting shaded. And i noticed the heads browned out this morning? Is that dead guts? Or brown jelly

Its not 100% clear, I can't tell if its brown jelly or algae or dead flesh, but I doubt its because of light deprivation. I have lots of polyps on the bottom of my hammer and frogspawn, they are a little smaller, less brighter polyps, but they don't get brown jelly and they don't die.
