I just want to see if there is a build thread for this tank where the filtration is in this table top unit. Looking forward to finding it, if it’s out there!

I remember seeing more info on this tank back in the day. It’s probably been 5+ years. It’s a HOB filter in the pot.

Hope the tang police don’t notice this one...

Tang police? Hmm, wonder how they hid the return lip I see on almost all hob’s. I think it’s a cool idea. If I can find the deets

You would have to have some kind a divider in the pot maybe acrylic or PVC. I would probably go with a bulkhead to let the water in the pot. One on the tank and one on the pot or maybe a uniseal. Honestly though HOB filters make a mess and a lot of noise.

I want to say there was an advanced aquarist article. Unfortunately I'm not sure you can still find it. Not 100% sure but I think that's where it was. It may have been elsewhere..
