Is there any crab / eel combination that can work?

Just wondering if anyone has stumbled upon a crab/eel combination that doesn't result in the crab becoming dinner. I used to keep cichlids before recently converting to salt, and found fish profiles and compatibility charts to be misleading. Cichlids that had a reputation for be aggresive could be very docile, and vice versa. This is a little different since it's a matter of the food chain, but perhaps there is a type of crab that can holds its own against a type of eel that will max out at 24"-30"? Call me crazy but I figured i'd ask!
