Is this a carpet anemone

I found this on my live rock today. It looks like an anemone, but is solid. It retreats when water is puffed on it like an anemone. Upon doing a search, it appears to be a carpet anemone. I got my live rock from the gulf, and it does not look like they are from there, but it is on the rock none the less. I don't want something that is going to start to eat my fish when they get into the tank. And if it is indeed a carpet anemone, what is the best way to get it out of the tank. That is the best pic I can get of it at the moment, as it is in the shade on a curve of the rock. Wants to be a total butt for sure.

Looks more like a corallimorph to me. Perhaps a a Rhodactis.

Nope. Was live rock out of the gulf.

It does blend in beautifully with the rock, which is why I probably hadn't noticed it earlier. That is about the best I can get thru the tank. Can't get close enough for the macro to do its thing thru the acrylic.

Looks like maybe a beaded sea anemone or a rock flower anemone. Both are found in the Carribean. Maybe a mushroom like @Tahoe61 said.

Does it look kinda like this?
