So I thought this was a monti, but I'm struggling to find one like it. Mainly because of how it feeds. I can't seem to find a monti that has this many small polyps on it?

Looks like a blue ridge coral. Heliopora. More related to soft corals than sps.

Thanks for the feedback. It is doing really well. This isn't my tank it's my best friends. When he got it it was just a little chunk on a piece of live rock he got out of a stock tank when Blbuilding his tank. It looked like part of the rock TBH but it started to recover and now is thriving. I'm not experienced by any means when it comes to coral. I thought it was some kind of plating monti, but again those polyps throw me for a loop because I just don't see any when I do searches for montis

Pretty confident about the blue ridge. I’ve had one for about 20 or so years.

Are there ant questions or different picture s/videos I can provide to help definitively identify this guy?
