Is this a nuisance sponge

Is this some kind of sponge growth?

I bought a fully running system and it’s been up a little over a week now in my house. This wasn’t present when I first looked at it.

Now I’m seeing this growing over some gsp. Is it the coral dying off or something nuisance growing over it? If it’s growing over, this all showed up yesterday and wasn’t present before.

I've had that webby white sponge grow on my corals before and it kills the part it grows on. Personally I would use some tweezers and pick it off.

I was hoping it was gsp dying honestly. Want the real estate for other stuff.
