So I bought a JF Homewrecker on eBay and I’m not 100% sure if it’s a homewrecker. It’s pretty much all green right now, it bleached a lot during shipping and polyps don’t seem to be as Healthy as they were in the posted pic. I know it can be hard to tell from pics but here are some.

Will do, any specific par levels that seem to show the best colors that you know of?
I have mine under about 450 par, but start off slow if you just got it, maybe around 250 and slowly move it up. It'll probably color up fine just about anywhere 250 and up. Stability and nutrients are key to getting the pink corallites. Here's an oversaturated pic of mine under heavy blues with an orange filter. Ill take one under whites if you want to compare yours to something a little more realistic to the eye.

Here’s a few pictures under day lighting to compare with and some frags that were cut up 2-3 weeks ago

is it the same frag. Plugs look diff. Sellers seems to have algae on it and the op seems newer unless that’s just the rack. Also seemed turned from where u would have seen the necrosis alerting the buyer

Doesn't look like necrosis (maybe a small patch near the base? hard to tell with the photo), there is clearly flesh there. It's also not bleached as the flesh is clearly brown but it has lost a lot of color. I think give it time to settle in at a low 100-200 par and as it starts to color up move it higher.

Yeah that first pic looks like missing flesh, not just pale. I would keep an eye on it, as it could spread quick. Looks too white and a very defined line to just be bleached.

Did it arrive with that tissue necrosis?
Yes it did unfortunately, the heat pack was ice cold and so was the water. It didn’t help that I had it held at the ups store and the guys put it in the fridge because it said perishable

The frag looks pretty rough. Was it just recently shipped?
Yes I got it off eBay and we’ve been experiencing a lot of bad weather, the heat pack was ice cold. I had it held at the ups store thinking it would be warmer than the truck but the guys put it in the fridge because it said perishable on it. It looked worse a couple days ago when I got it.

There is still live flesh and polyps on the whole frag it is just severely bleached and it’s kind of shadowed. Definitely keeping a close eye on it tho, thanks. The bleaching line is very strange though.

I was able to get the frag and it’s small base off of the old plug and put it on my own new plug but I also think I may have received a slightly different frag than the pic because the pic has 3 main shoots and mine only has 2.

You are correct there is still flesh there and extended polyps but it just has little to no color

That doesn't look like the original picture. I'd try to get a refund

As a vendor, I would have replaced that for you.
perhaps reach out and see if they can help you out with that? I really doubt it’ll make it.
