Is this aiptasia or is there another nem it could be?

Cycling tank. Saw these translucent things (2) sprout up. Removed the rock but I assume it's already too late if it is aiptasia. Although I wonder if it has been misidentified as Aiptasia. What looks kinda like it and can be misidentified as it while small?

If you included a pic, I can’t see it. Often hydroids are found with a new set up and can be misidentified as aiptasia.

Yea the pictures didn't upload for some reason. Trying again now! It is very interesting though that hydroids can be misidentified as aiptasia. I kinda hope that's the case.

PS - the pics suck but it's the best I could do and have since removed the rock so further pics aren't possible unfortunately

They can be clear or white if kept out of the light for awhile.

Hey guys, any idea what these yellow tiny cluster of worm like things are?
Second, I was told a sponge is growing inside the shell, It looked black. Is it okay or a pest? Everything I've read says all sponges are fine but I am curious

Lastly, the shell has been sitting in the LFS water in a glass jar since last night. No flow or aeration except my swishing the water around occasionally. I wanted to add it for the corralline but wanted to wait to ask about the yellow worm things etc - if Everything is okay and I put the shell in, do you think the corralline would still be alive and okay?
