Hey folks, got a simple question here, hoping for a simple answer, haha.

I’m still in my cycle phase, all going well so far, and I have finally got the water level holding steady in the overflow, skimmer has stopped fluctuating as much, etc…

I just want to gather some thoughts on whether or not there’s enough surface agitation? See attached video (excuse the Netflix audio in the background).

Tank will be fish only for a few months, then i’ll be starting with some simple softies, and once I prove to myself I can keep those alive, I’ll move onto LPS. Currently don’t have any plans or aspirations for SPS.

Equipment:
Red Sea Reefer 170 G2 (135ltr display vol)
Res Sea Reef Run 5500 DC Pump at 25%
Red Sea Reef Wave 25 at 40%
Total tank run time: 3 days.

Thanks!

I’m going to my LFS soon so I’ll ask them. Thanks for checking the post, though.

Best way for video is ytube then copy and paste on your thread
Just downloaded the video plenty of movement at the surface of your tank. Looks a nice tidy set up

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
